WELCOME TO THE CYBER COLLABORATION CENTER (CCC)

The Cyber Collaboration Center (CCC) was established in 2011 by Referentia Systems to enable security experts from government, academia and industry to collaborate on critical cybersecurity concerns threatening our nation’s networks. In 2016, the CCC transitioned to a non-profit organization with a focus on education and training to help achieve a cyber-safe community.

CYBER COLLABORATION CENTER INITIATIVES

From the beginning, CCC served as an operational test bed for a range of stakeholders including the Department of Defense, alternative energy infrastructure sites, the smart grid and utilities. The Center’s initiatives include developing effective solutions for cybersecurity, interoperability operations and critical infrastructure and innovations based on identified gaps within the operational landscape. The Center's new focus is on training and partnering with industry experts to help facilitate a cyber-safe community.

WHAT IS A "CYBER-SAFE COMMUNITY"?

On a local level, every community includes government, industry, and workforce. The CCC works to build awareness of cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and best practices across a diverse group of stakeholders, providing no-cost webinars, information resources, and programs designed to encourage and promote good cyber hygiene.

DFARS 7012 UPDATE

The Cyber Collaboration Center has established partnerships with industry to assist in building awareness and providing educational resources for contractors striving to meet DoD cybersecurity requirements. CCC has sponsored a series of webinars and live training events to provide training and information for prime contractors, subcontractors, and government contracting professionals. For more information please contact info@cybercollab.org.

COLLABORATION FOSTERS INNOVATION

The CCC has been staffed by cybersecurity experts, computer scientists, programmers and network engineers, providing a dynamic open-space work environment that encourages collaborative research across disciplines. Innovation can take many forms, and for each critical cybersecurity gap area that CCC adopts as an initiative, CCC and its partners look for or assemble innovative solutions that enable a cyber-safe community.

CARING FOR THE COMMUNITY

The CCC is a strong supporter of STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) and helps ensure a well-trained and economically competitive workforce, to foster the next generation of national security professionals. The CCC provides education and training across the community, from underserved populations to the critical infrastructure industry, for the purposes of building and promoting a cyber-safe community.
